Campgrounds

The Manitowoc County Expo Grounds host the Manitowoc County Fair each August. The grounds and buildings are also used for a variety of events such as horse shows, car shows, flea markets and racing.

RV and tent camping available with full hook-ups, showers and facilities to accommodate large rallies. Only 10 minutes from downtown Manitowoc, the carferry and just blocks from Exit 149 off I-43.

Point Beach State Forest

Point Beach State Forest features 3,000 acres of forest and six miles of Lake Michigan Shoreline. We offer 127 family campsites, 2 remote campsites for Kayak or Ice Age Trail adventurers, rustic cabins (Ketchbaw-14 or Coenen-16 people) and a large outdoor group camp with a capacity of 60 guests. A popular feature within the property is the Rawley Point Lighthouse, which has been operated by the U.S. Coast Guard since 1853. Outdoor fun for all: Rawley Point bike trail (5 mi), hiking trails: Ridges Tail (71/4 mi featuring the Red-Blue-Yellow Loops), Swales nature trail (1/2 mi), Red Pine Trail (3.1 mi), Ice Age Trail (5 mi), Horseback riding Trail (2.3 mi), hunting, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Three lakeside picnic areas provide picnic tables, grills, water, restrooms, playground, volleyball court and spectacular views of Lake Michigan. We welcome pets in our pet friendly beach area. Three state natural areas are: Wilderness Ridge, Two creeks Buried Forest, and Point Beach Ridges that feature many species of birds and wildlife.

Rainbow’s End Campgrounds

Located 10 miles west of I-43 on Hwy 10. 45 overnight sites, some pull-through with water & electric. Amenities include showers ($), free WI-FI internet access, wood for sale, swimming beach, playground, mini-golf, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, lounge and gameroom. RC car track.

Scheffel’s Hideaway Campground, LLC

Surrounded by Point Beach State Forest, 50 sites with water/electric, including 15 sites with sewer/50-amp. Bathrooms with showers, laundry, store, playground, and adjacent to a restaurant. Easy access to the Rawley Point Trail. Open March-November.

Seagull Marina & Campground

Marina and campground located on the water. RV court on the Two Rivers Harbor, full hook-ups available, 50 Amp, WiFi, slip rentals, full service shop and boat sales. 100 sites, showers, sand beach, pier & charter fishing. 15 minutes to carferry. Reservations not necessary.

Village Inn on the Lake & RV Park

A comfortable oasis to everything on the lakeshore. Offering outstanding accommodations in our rooms, suites, and RV sites, and a relaxed friendly atmosphere supported by our exceptional staff. 28 rooms and 8 suites, overlooking Lake Michigan. Lakeside and poolside. Suites feature fireplaces and full kitchens; many with full-size whirlpools.
