Lester Public Library

Visitors welcome! Our beautiful library features a comfortable sitting area with a stone fireplace. We also have free wireless internet access, local history and genealogy collections, area maps, books, magazines, newspapers, music & movies. Our friendly staff is also available to answer any questions you may have. Fun Kids programs and movies for kids and adults, call or visit our website for dates and times. Summer Story Hours are Tuesday 10 am and Wednesday 1 pm.

Manitowoc Public Library

Our local library has a huge collection of music and movies! Books, newspapers, magazines, free wireless internet access, research and printing services. iMac workstations, Audio & Video recording, study and meeting rooms, test proctoring, tutoring and homework services, research and 3D printing, digital learning courses, Wifi and Wifi printing. Year-round programs for children, teens, and adults. showcase for public art in the heart of downtown! Free Notary Public and Book-a-Librarian services also available.

The school district of Mishicot provides excellence in education to all students by providing access to a rich academic program and dedicated staff within a student-centered environment.

Silver Lake College is a Franciscan Catholic College offering traditional undergraduate, adult degree completion, and graduate programs for students of all faiths and backgrounds. The public is welcomed for concerts, art exhibits and events year-round.

The University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc is part of the 26 campus University of Wisconsin system. It offers freshman-sophomore level courses, a highly qualified faculty, small classes and the lowest tuition in the system.

WAEC’s mission is to educate visitors of all ages about food production and the importance of agriculture. Key features of the center include a discovery center with educational displays and hands-on learning opportunities, a birthing barn where visitors can wsatch calves being born, a 300-person conference center, a cafe, and a country store featuring Wisconsin products.
