World Storytelling Day Celebration

March 29 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join the Manitalkers Toastmasters club in celebrating the art of oral storytelling. Come to laugh, be moved, and feel inspired.

Two event locations, two different dates:
Wednesday, March 22. 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Manitowoc Public Library.
Wednesday, March 29. 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Lester Public Library, Two Rivers, WI.

Come to share a personal or favorite story, read a story from a variety of books that will be available, or take the storytelling challenge and create an impromptu story based on words or props given to you.

To allow as many participants as possible, storytellers are requested to speak no longer than four minutes. The 2017 theme for world storytelling day is Transformation and participants are welcome to use this theme for their stories if they choose. All events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. No registration required.

Audience members welcome; bring your family and friends!

We hope to see you there.
