Scholar for Life! The Oxymoron of the Original Multiple: Prints and Printmaking Explained

March 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

What exactly is an original multiple? People are often confused when it comes to printmaking and prints and exactly how fine-art printmaking differs from printed reproductions of paintings or drawings (even if that reproduction is a signed, numbered limited edition.) Professor Berel Lutsky demystifies the issue and offers information on the history of fine-art printmaking and how it is practiced today. This public lecture series is in partnership between UW-Manitowoc and the Lester Public Library. No registration is required.
