David Scherer -- new
carferry greeter & office volunteer
David started volunteering at
the Visitor Center at the beginning of May. He
works Monday afternoons in the office
and fills in at the carferry dock when
needed.
The opportunity to meet and interact
with people is what attracted him most to become a VIC
Volunteer.
When
David isn't at the VIC,
he volunteers at the Wisconsin Maritime
Museum as a docent, and cooks and serve meals
to the homeless for the Inter Faith Hospitality Network.
Outside of
volunteering, he enjoys playing the trumpet in the
Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and the Lakeshore Big Band, and
is also on the organ committee at First Lutheran
Church.
Thank
you David, we appreciate your
helpfulness, professionalism and wealth of
knowledge about our
community! |

VIC. A thank you also to the Holiday Inn of Manitowoc
and Color Craft Graphic Arts who co-sponsored the 12th
Annual MAVCB Tourism Breakfast.
